Swami Dayadhipananda aka Dr. Shivakumar Maharaj is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order. Swamiji is an MBBS Graduate from JJM Medical College Davanagere. After his graduation, inspired by the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, he joined the Ramakrishna Order in 2004 and was ordained into Sanyasa Diksha in the year 2016.

Swamiji has been privileged to serve the poor and needy at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama [ a 200 bed charitable multi speciality hospital ] in Haridwar for 12 years.He has served the hospital in various capacities and is currently the Medical Superintendent.

Swamiji is a strong believer of Integrated Medicine (a holistic approach combining physical, emotional, social and spiritual well being) and himself practises Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation daily. Swamiji has a passion for spreading health awareness in the community and helping people lead happier lives through Integrated Medicine.

Swamiji specialises in diabetic care. Sevasharama has a unique and comprehensive program to serve the Type I diabetic children. With the help and honorary consultations by eminent endocrinologists from India and abroad, these children lead a happy and healthy life. Besides free treatment, the Sevashrama conducts regular monthly support group meetings to motivate the children and their families by providing DSME (Diabetes Self Management Education). With an approach of Integrated Medicine, the children are strengthened emotionally and spiritually by eminent doctors, psychologists and learned monks through online video conferences and also in person.

Above all he has a passion to spread the "Man Making and Nation Building" teachings of Swami Vivekananda for people from all walks of life.
