Dr. S. M. Khot is an esteemed academic leader with over 35 years of teaching experience and a distinguished career in engineering education. He has been serving as the Principal of Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Vashi, Navi Mumbai since 2015. A recognized Ph.D. guide at the University of Mumbai, Dr. Khot holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.E. in Design Engineering, and a Ph.D. from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He has published 115 research papers in International Journals, National/ International conferences.

He currently chairs the Board of Studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mumbai and serves on several academic councils and committees, including the Research and Recognition Committee and various autonomous institute boards.
